Accordion wizard Veli Kujala and piano magic man Jarkko Riihimäki meet at the border between reality and illusion, and sparks fly when it all crumbles. Get lost in the music – but don’t be surprised when the magic takes your breath away.
A composer, accordion artist, pianist and arranger, Veli Kujala is a versatile and gifted individual. He lives in Berlin.
Jari Riihimäki works in various musical constellations. He arranges music for the Deutsche Symphonie Orchestra and Club for Five, a contemporary acapella group from Finland. He has also worked in television and on the festival circuit.
The duo has performed extensively, and now comes their Winter Accordion premier as The Music Wizards.
The concert will include, among others, the music of Carlos Gardel, Jacob Gade, Path Metheny, Pekka Pohjola with some improvisation.
Come and experience music and magic in one concert!
