Johanna Juhola welcomes you to an experimental concert in which she’ll play accordion together with fantasy friends who pop up here and there on stage around her. Her fellow performers are, among others, accordion-playing grandpa who encourages her during her performance; a cavalcade of Youtube stars; a beloved navigator; applauding onlookers – and even an orchestra of cloned Johannas.

Voices, faces, hands and other accompanying body parts have been lent by the vocal artist Emma Salokoski, Tommy Lindgren, Yona and Maija Pokela, circus artist Sampo Kurppa, drummer Sara Puljula and tango acrobats Timo Hakkarainen and Marjo Kiukaaniemi.

The concerts music style, fantasy tango, is produced by Johanna herself. It finds the beloved and classic genre’s musical elements mixed with a meandering musical narrative. The resulting sound comes from accordion but Johanna also borrows from folk and pop music.
